Ashok Kumar is a passionate educator, entrepreneur, and global business leader with humble roots in Pondicherry. From managing international ventures to designing soulful boutique stays, his journey blends hospitality, storytelling, and heartfelt service. With over a decade of travel experience across 45 countries, Ashok brings the best of global design and local charm into every room at Blissful Stay. He currently leads multiple ventures in India and Africa and has earned the trust of thousands of guests through his signature blend of warmth, creativity, and operational excellence. Ashok is also a life coach at heart — empowering others to build wealth and freedom through Airbnb hosting and digital skills.

Ashok’s father was a humble coconut merchant. He started his day at 4 AM, every day without fail, to put food on the table and hope in his children’s hearts.Though he passed away in 2008, his discipline, dignity, and belief that “learning never ends” became Ashok’s lifelong compass. Stayed at the property for a night and had a smooth experience. The host and property manager were proactive and made sure check-in was hassle-free. The space was clean, comfortable, and functional, with the added bonus of private parking. The kitchen had all the basics—fridge, stove, and essential utensils. It’s also in a great location, close to all the popular spots in Auroville.

We stayed here during our Pondicherry trip and overall had a peaceful experience. The property feels homely and comfortable, though the photos online look a bit more polished than in reality – it’s an older place, but well-kept. The biggest highlight was the host, who was extremely responsive and helpful, making our trip much easier and stress-free. If you’re looking for a calm and homely stay with a caring host, this is a good choice.

Tint of Mint is a beautiful and cute 1BHK that has everything you need for a home away from home. Very cute decor and comfortable seating and sleeping options. Security and staff are alert and friendly. There’s a place to freshen up till you checkin which is very helpful. Overall a great place!

I would recommend this place to anyone travelling to pondicherry.. the stay is a bit away from White Town area.. but the place is super clean and hosts are able to accommodate any requests that you may have.. there are plenty of cafes which are quite near to this stay !

The place was beautiful and had all the amenities. The host was responsive as well. They had a kitchen from where one can order good food at nominal prices. It was definitely a comfortable stay. However, one things we noticed was the property in the photos looks much newer. In actuality, it looks old. But, the stay was good.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Right from the booking to check-in to check-out, the seamless experience was a standout. Ashok and his team was very responsive and attended to our requests almost immediately. They created a temporary WA group for any queries or concerns and addressed it. Car parking is right opposite to the house. The furniture is enough for a group of 4 and the functional kitchen is very handy, though we used only the microwave to re-heat food. Overall, a good stay. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The house was great for our family. I especially liked the hall and bedroom. The kitchen was also nice, but the bathroom space was very small. Overall, I was pleased with the space. There was good communication with the teams in that location, and I want to thank the card driver and auto driver for their excellent service. The only problem was that the location was too far from the main attractions.

House is beautiful and you’ll have nostalgic moments. It’s maintained clean. Walkable to beach. Peaceful views from terrace garden . Near to main road. Very supportive staff that are always ready to help.we have been very thankful to staff - Ayyappan sir, Shadik Uncle, House cleaning sister, and other staff. Wonderful staff and stay experience. Would highly recommend for a peaceful holiday

The room I booked was Chettinad themed, and the beautiful pictures of the room lured me to book the stay and it met all the expectations I had. The staff was cooperative, friendly and supportive. The balcony gave a view of the trees in the area and the sky was visible too. You can just spend your night looking at the moon from your room. It is a beautiful stay and highly recommended.
